Spendet is built around one simple principle: your financial data belongs to you, and only you.
1. Data storage
All expenses, budgets, and preferences you enter are stored locally on your device. Nothing is ever uploaded to a server. We do not have servers.
2. Data collection
We collect no personal information. No account or sign-up is required. We do not use analytics, tracking, advertising identifiers, or cookies of any kind.
3. Apple Wallet import (optional)
If you choose to connect Apple Wallet, Spendet uses Apple's FinanceKit framework to read your Apple Card and Apple Cash transactions — only after you explicitly grant permission in iOS. Imported transactions are processed entirely on your device and simply become regular expense entries in the app. This data is never transmitted to us or to any third party, is never sold, and is never used for marketing, advertising, or analytics. You can disconnect Apple Wallet at any time in the app's Settings, and revoke access in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Financial Data.
4. Third parties
Your data is never shared with, sold to, or made accessible to any third party, because it never leaves your device.
5. Data deletion
Deleting the app permanently removes all of its data from your device. There is no copy anywhere else.
6. Children
Spendet does not collect data from anyone, including children.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published in the app and on this website before it takes effect.
